Wenk Associates is creating the master plan for a new 80-acre community park. The master plan responds to the City’s need for formal and informal activities. Athletic fields are balanced with areas for individual sports such as Frisbee golf, cricket, racquetball, skatepark/skateboarding facilities, a climbing wall and an interactive digital media center. The park will serve as the primary gathering place for the community with year-round activities.

The expansive green of the playfields at the entrance allows for uninterrupted views through the park and to the mountains. Connections to existing and future parks, the Dry Creek Greenway, and neighborhoods link the community. The strong arcing form of the linear spine organizes the park elements and creates a vehicular and pedestrian corridor.
