Wenk Associates has overseen major streetscape and public space improvements for the the Town of Vail village core. Close to $18 million has been earmarked for the redevelopment of pedestrian plazas and streets in the heart of the Village, to strengthen the retail environment, and to provide new opportunities for public gatherings. Wenk Associates established a distinctive identity for the Village through a consistent vocabulary of site furnishings and site treatments.

The strategy included phasing work over five years, working closely with the town staff and budget, and addressing critical functional needs, such as upgrading water lines and addressing deteriorating pedestrian environments.
