Cherry Creek Tower, a 12-story residential building inspired by Mies van der Rohe, was constructed in 1962, with an austere plaza covering a parking structure below. Over the years the plaza began to show its age and ceased to be a useful and functional space. Wenk Associates worked with the building's Homeowners' Association to retrofit the plaza, extending the elegance and refinement of its glass and steel exterior into the landscape.
