Anticipating redevelopment, the City retained Wenk Associates as part of an interdisciplinary group to develop concepts to rehabilitate and restore the 2-mile long, ½-mile wide historic creek corridor. Concepts developed integrate environmental cleanup with proposals for parks, trails and natural areas that offer amenities for surrounding neighborhoods.
