Tyrel (Ty) Sturgeon

Ty has been instrumental in the success of Wenk Associates since 2007. He has extensive professional experience in site planning and design, construction documentation, and construction observation. Ty provides senior project management and coordination on complex, multi-disciplinary projects including parks, open space, urban design, and public spaces for public and private clients. Most recently, Ty has led the firm’s work with McWhinney on the Baseline development in Broomfield, Colorado, a new development that promotes environmental stewardship and healthy living, and he served as the project manager for the award-winning Arkins Park and Promenade in Denver.

Ty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture from Colorado State University.
