The River Mile: South Platte River Restoration Project in Denver, CO is the first riverine project to achieve WEDG® (Waterfront Edge Design Guidelines) Verification under Version 3.0 of the standard. WEDG is a national rating system and set of guidelines that pushes the bar for creating resilient, ecological, and accessible waterfront design.

Wenk won a Merit Award in Analysis and Planning from the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Colorado-Wyoming chapter, recognizing our innovative work on the Salt Lake City Green Loop master plan.

Wenk’s Nicole Horst was honored as a 2025 Trailblazer at the first ever Salt Lake City Women Leading Real Estate Awards, for her work leading a multidisciplinary consultant team to develop the master plan for the Salt Lake City Green Loop project.
