For over 36 years, he has been influential in the restoration and redevelopment of urban river and stream corridors, the transformation of derelict urban land, and the design of public parks and open spaces. He is recognized nationally for utilizing stormwater as a resource.
Bill is a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects. He holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Science, Landscape Architecture from Michigan State University.

Nicole Horst, PLA, ASLA
Nicole is a principal at Wenk Associates with over 19 years of experience guiding some of the firm’s most complex recreation, park, open space, and greenway projects. She is skilled at managing and coordinating large multidisciplinary consultant teams, and engaging multiple stakeholder groups to ensure project success from master planning through construction.

Greg Dorolek, PLA, ASLA
Greg is a principal at Wenk Associates with over 19 years of experience leading the firm’s urban design and campus projects. Many of Greg’s projects incorporate green infrastructure strategies that treat and manage stormwater runoff to enhance ecological, human, and economic value. As Lead Designer, Greg is invaluable in workshops and charrettes with his ability to communicate quickly and effectively in real time with hand sketches that bring ideas to life.

Joshua (J.C.) Culwell, PLA, GRP. ASLA
J.C. is a senior landscape architect and project manager at Wenk Associates with 12 years of experience managing and working on projects of varying scale and scope. While also recognized as a skilled and passionate designer, clients especially appreciate J.C. for his responsiveness, dedication, and attention to detail throughout the duration of all his projects.

Ty is a senior landscape architect and project manager at Wenk Associates with over 12 years of experience in site planning and design, construction documentation, and construction observation. Ty has worked extensively, providing project management and coordination, on complex, multi-disciplinary projects including parks, open space, urban design, and public spaces.

Kelli joined Wenk Associates in 2010. A Colorado native, Kelli grew up exploring the natural environment of Colorado and surrounding states, which cultivated her passion for both the natural and built environments, and the cultural influences that shape the spaces in which we live. Kelli brings nine years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of a wide range of projects including parks, open space, trails, campus, streetscapes, and urban design.

Megan Jones Shiotani, ASLA
Megan joined Wenk Associates in 2015. She brings a decade of experience practicing architecture, planning and landscape architecture in cities across the US. Her portfolio is rooted in design for urban and campus environments, public engagement, and landscape theory and research. As a backyard beekeeper and an occasional public artist, Megan is deeply passionate about the intersection of community, art, recreation and urban ecologies.
Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Megan is an alumna of the Downtown Denver Leadership Program, served as President of the Jane Silverstein Ries Foundation (JSR) from 2016-2020, and is a member of the Downtown Denver Partnership Public Realm Council and American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). In 2019, Megan was published in the UCBerkeley Journal of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning with her photoessay Finding Our Roots in Foreign Soil.

A Georgia native, Laurie joined Wenk Associates in 2016 after several years working as a landscape designer in New York. Now, she is loving her new found home in colorful Colorado! Laurie brings eight years of professional experience in the design of streetscapes, urban plazas, waterfront parks, rooftop gardens, and mixed-use developments. She has worked from site analysis and conceptual design to construction observation and substantial completion on large and small scale projects in Colorado, New York, and India.

Kalyn Crosier, PLA, ASLA
Kalyn joined Wenk Associates in June 2018. She brings creative design solutions, environmental awareness, and lucrative communication skills to the firm Wenk Associates. Kalyn has over four years of experience in transit oriented mixed-use communities, corporate campuses, and multi-family developments. Originally from California, she has worked on numerous projects in the Bay Area, taking them all the way from master-planning into built work.

Bryan joined Wenk Associates in 2012 with a diversified portfolio including work experience both nationally and globally. Bryan brings a decade of experience across a broad range of project scales and types—master planning, resort and hospitality, commercial and residential, which has equipped him with the technical capabilities to have a strong, well-rounded grasp on design. With every project, Bryan strives to develop creative site specific design solutions that emphasize the uniqueness of each site.

Drew joined Wenk Associates in 2014. As a Colorado native, outdoorsman, and international traveler with a background in fine arts and high-end landscape maintenance, Drew uses his experiences to inspire him and inform his design decisions. Drew is an adept graphic communicator with an exceptional ability to illustrate complex ideas with expressive, conceptual digital renderings and illustrative hand drawings.

Kaitlin joined Wenk Associates in June 2017. Her passion for the outdoors influences her interest to design environments that focus on human interactions, man-to-nature as well as person-to-person, that are accessible and inclusive for all. Kaitlin's design process includes site analysis, contextual mapping, cultural research, preliminary models, and a whole lot of trace paper.
Kaitlin is working towards her Landscape Architect Registration, and recently won a 2020 national grant competition to assist in funding her examination. Her winning entry describes her continued interest in building more inclusive environments, including those experiencing homelessness. Congratulations Kaitlin!

Andy joined Wenk Associates in April 2019. He brings with him a detail-oriented, socially-minded approach to design along with a deep knowledge of and love for local plant species.
Andy has over two years of experience in ecological design, urban planning, recreational park and trail design. Studying and working in Colorado has allowed him to immerse himself in the local culture and environment, giving him a deep understanding of the people and ecology within which he works.
Andy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy along with over three years of study in the Landscape Architecture program at Colorado State University.
Alex joined Wenk Associates in July 2019. Originally from Illinois, he brings to Wenk two years of experience working in the Midwest on a variety of projects at different scales. Themes in Alex’s work have included combining ecological habitat with programmatic use, transforming public gathering spaces, and strengthening urban connections. Alex has a strong foundation in 3D modeling and digital design that allows him to create dynamic graphic renderings to communicate and visualize design ideas and concepts for our clients.

Cale joined Wenk Associates first as an intern in 2017 and 2018, then as a part of the team in 2019. As a Denver native, the proximity of public space, urban parks, and the Rocky Mountains cultivated a deep passion for the intersections of built and natural environments. Having worked for architects, engineers, climate researchers, and landscape architects, Cale uses his diverse skillset to impact projects across all types and scales.
Cale holds a Bachelor in Environmental Design with a minor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
